Twins Solar Energy — Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal information Twins Solar Energy collects when you shop with us, how we use it, and your rights over it under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.

1. Information we collect

  • Name, phone number, and (if provided) email address, whether you check out as a guest or create an account.
  • Delivery address, only when you choose delivery instead of pickup.
  • Order history: items purchased, order status, and amounts paid.
  • If you create an account, the date and time you agreed to this notice.
  • If you leave a product review, the rating and comment you submit are shown publicly on that product's page.

2. Payment information

Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not receive or store your card details — only the outcome of the payment (paid or not) and Paystack's reference for it.

3. Marketing communications

We do not currently run email or SMS marketing. The only email we send is a transactional order confirmation after a successful payment.

4. Cookies and your cart

If you sign in, we use a cookie to keep you logged in. Your shopping cart is saved in your browser's local storage on your device, not on our servers, so it's still there if you come back later on the same device and browser. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

5. Data retention

We keep order records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting and tax obligations. If you delete your account, we retain the order records we are required to keep but stop using your information for anything else.

6. Sharing your information

We share the minimum necessary order and delivery details with our payment processor (Paystack) and, where a delivery is involved, whoever is fulfilling that delivery — solely to complete your order. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Your rights

Under the NDPA 2023, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can withdraw account-creation consent at any time. 8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated notice.
